A 30-man travel squad has been named for what could be the most arduous men’s tour that Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR) has ever embarked upon as the city’s Rugby World Cup hopefuls set off on a month-long tour to play in the World Rugby Nations Cup in South America.

Hong Kong China Men’s XVs have learnt their first three fixtures in the inaugural edition of World Rugby’s new Nations Cup.

The tournament features the team’s ranked 13-24 in the world rankings, with Hong Kong China ranked in 23rd place after an incredible 2026, which saw the team qualify for the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 via their sixth consecutive Asia Rugby Championship win.
